Description
The Nexus N8000 skates provide solid support and performance in a high value package. This skate features a more traditional package with the usage of pro level tech mesh nylon and a nice classic fit.
The Nexus N8000 offers a traditional “Deep-V” heel shape, combined with an anatomically molded upper and insole. The result is a boot that provides a comfortable, secure heel lock, while allowing for better wrap along the top of the foot. These fit characteristics, combined with the heat molding properties of the tech mesh, amount to a boot that is comfortable right out of the box, and is very accommodating to players with higher volume feet.
The N8000 features a 3-piece, thick felt 48 oz. tongue with a molded metatarsal guard that provides comfort and added protection while you are out there on the ice. Bauer included their Hydra Max Mesh liner, which helps wick away moisture and dries quickly to prolong the life of the skates. Add Bauer’s Form Fit+ footbed made complete with moisture wicking properties and also functions as a heel stabilizer to give you the total package of comfort and performance.
The Tuuk Lightspeed Edge holder has established itself as a game changer, and with its success has made its return in the Nexus line. This holder not only provides an added three millimeters of height, allowing for a more aggressive angle of attack, but also allows players to switch out the TUUK LS1 EDGE stainless steel (found on the Nexus N8000) on the fly.
