Continuing on one of the most anticipated new lines in goaltending in the recent years, Bauer has brought one of the most engineered and technologically advanced lines of gear to the goalie market. The Vapor 1X blocker is packed with new features which strive to change the face of goaltending.

The Vapor 1X blocker features an extremely rigid face and sidewall lined with Curv Composite to give the hardest rebounds. With the harder rebounds and rigid feel, the 1X blocker will help ramp pucks hard and away to the corners while giving the lightest feel and balance on the hand. The 1X blocker also features traditional binding along the perimeter, a lower hand position and a Free Flex Cuff to aid in natural feel and freedom in the wrist for all movements. On the the finger protection, the 1X blocker uses Poron XRD foam for a comfortable grip while still providing extreme protection. The enclosure around the fingers gives complete coverage and protection as well.

Bauer continues to use the Ax Suede Quattro+ palm in the palm to provide excellent grip exceptional durability. The Ax Suede Quattro+ palm gives a soft Nash like feel on the fingers, but has extra layers on the palm for vibration dampening and added durability and grip on the stick. Also lined with Bauer’s 37.5 Technology, the drying properties of this equipment help keep your hands dry through play and also keep your body temperature regulated.
