Brand new for 2017, Brian’s Custom Sports continues to push the envelope of the goal gear industry with the release of their “NHL Streamlined” Optik Pro goal pant. The materials are made of the highest quality materials available from the Brian’s Canadian manufacturing facility, resulting in a true custom handcrafted style.
What is “NHL Streamlined” you might ask? Streamlined pants offer a tighter fit in the thighs and hips, which was designed by the NHL to reduce the overall width and girth of a standard goalie pant. Why would you want these pants if you are not in the NHL? These pants dramatically increase mobility when compared to a standard goalie pant.
The overall fit of the pant is similar when compared to the Gnetik 2 predecessor, but the fit is more contoured around the waist and hips. High density foam frontal fins allow for increased protection and coverage on the front of the pant to give the goalie the protection they need, despite the pant being thinner and smaller. There is an added (and removable) thigh pad cushion allows for complete customization if the goalie wears a bulkier knee pad. On the outside of the pant, it is constructed of high quality 420 denier nylon to give the best durability available.
