Mounted to the boot itself is the SpeedBlade 4.0 Holder which provides an additional four millimeters of height (when compared to the older E-Pro holder), and allows for a greater angle of attack and more aggressive turns. Complementing the SpeedBlade 4.0 Holder is CCM’s corrosion-resistant SpeedBlade Black runner. This blade also comes loaded with performance benefits as it has undergone an oxidation process that increases surface hardness which translates to holding an edge longer and reduces the likelihood that it will chip or flake. Additionally, the high quality finish provides lower friction which in turn gives you a faster glide and more speed.
